Lemony Green Beans

Ingredients 

  •  2 lbs. green beans
  •  2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  •  2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp. lemon zest

Instructions

  • Put green beans into boiling water until bright green in color,     tender and crisp
  • Drain and quickly soak in a bowl of ice.
  • Heat a large heavy skillet over medium heat add olive oil to it.  
  • Mix in the beans with the rest of the ingredients. 
  • Saute’ until coated with oil and heated through, about 5 minutes.
