April Member Spotlight – Gwynne Bee
Each morning when I wake up, I wake up inspired just thinking about my clients and members of the Tone and Strengthen family. I love what I do. I get to change people’s lives and set them on a healthy path. All the while working with some of the best people I have known. These members of my fitness classes always put a smile on my face. I am grateful that I could continue teaching the classes virtually when the pandemic hit. I just couldn’t bear the thought of not spending time with these beautiful people. The clients who log on to my virtual classes and personal training make me excited to be there to teach the class or lead the training session in front of the camera. My clients literally pump me up for my work. My clients are a constant reminder of why I’m passionate about my mission to move people towards a healthier version of themselves.
Today I am going to throw the spotlight on our long-term family member Gwynne Bee. She is a sixty-years young, retired nurse. She has been retired for four years after 44 years of service in the healthcare field and loving her work! She lives in Warwick. She enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, friends & family.
What are your current fitness and wellness goals?
I try to stay fit & busy every day. I enjoy giving back by volunteering for Bux-Mont Meals on Wheels. I love riding my bike whenever the weather permits.
How did you find Coach Aesha and started working with her?
During the COVID pandemic this past year, I found Aesha’s yoga classes on her fitness website. Her yoga class has been an excellent addition to my fitness routine. It has been great for my health & relieving the stress of COVID. I have become more flexible & toned in arms & legs, which is so good for me.
How has Coach Aesha’s training helped you with your fitness journey?
Aesha is a wonderful coach, as she helps show you how to adapt specific yoga exercises, which for my bilateral knee replacements is ideal. I don’t have normal knee flexion, but that never poses a huge problem for me in her classes. Aesha’s positive energy & calm manner makes yoga so rewarding in my life & I know it will be for you as well! Thank you, Aesha!
