If You Are Skipping Your Workouts, Read This!
We are all guilty of those skip days… weeks… or even months.
We’ve all been there so the time you’re debating whether or not you want to break a sweat, try out one these workout motivation hacks. But beware: after incorporating these fitness tips into your routine, you may not ever miss a workout again!
Find a Workout Buddy
Whether it’s a sibling a friend, or even a neighbor, having someone to motivate you and vice versa is one of the keys to consistency when you want to stick to your workout routine. (Plus it’s nice to have that extra motivation!)
Watch Motivational Videos on Youtube or Instagram
From fitness influencers on Instagram and YouTube to fitness vlogs and blogs there are so many inspiring men and women to follow to keep you on track, along with starting to teach you healthy eating and lifestyle habits that you can implement in your life.
(Tip!!! Most fitness influencers post-workout routines too)
Find a Time That Works Best For You
If you are a morning person then make it a routine to get your workout in. Some yoga, or even some simple stretches in the sun is a great start. Same goes for if you are busy all day and only have time at night, hit the gym or do some yoga at home with some yummy scented candles to relax and unwind – picking a time and sticking to it motivates you to keep going!
Remember, What You Put In Your Body Is Your Fuel
The most important thing you can do to help your body recover from a workout and get ready for the next is eating healthy. You don’t need to be a calorie counter, but getting the right amount of vitamins, proteins, and greens will help you excel.
Make a BOMB playlist
Let’s face it, we all have that one song or band that makes us want to get up and conquer the day. Make a playlist of your favorite music that makes you forget what time it is and you will love your workout no matter what it may be.
Your Brain! After a workout there is always a feeling of accomplishment, which is rewarding… but so is the aspect of brain chemicals. When you workout it increases your dopamine, adrenaline, and endorphins levels which literally makes you happier and reduces your stress! You don’t necessarily need to workout for an hour, but getting your heart pumping is good for the mind, body, and soul. And remember… the hardest part is getting up, and getting out the door but you got this!
“Success isn’t always about greatness. It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work gains success. Greatness will come.”
