Herb and Garlic Roasted Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4-5 6 oz salmon fillet
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon old bay seasoning
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper, (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon Italian dressing (any brand)
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper
  • lemon slices

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Combine the olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, half of the old bay seasoning, cayenne pepper (if using), lemon juice, Italian dressing, and black pepper together. Stir to combine well.
  3. Arrange the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon the garlic herb mixture onto the salmon, coat well on the top and sides of the salmon.
  4. Sprinkle lightly the other half of the old bay seasoning on each fillet.
  5. Bake in the oven covered with foil for 10 minutes.
  6. Then take the pan out uncover the tray and place one lemon slice on each of the salmon fillets.
  7. Bake the fish uncovered for another 5 minutes or when it’s done to your liking.
